New Mexico Museum of Art Hosts 8th "Our Fair New Mexico" Virtual Concert, Featuring Carlos Medina Conjunto

The New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA), in partnership with state museums, historic sites, and cultural institutions, this week continues its series of virtual musical concerts.
“Our Fair New Mexico” includes performances by musicians living in New Mexico. On Friday, May 22, the eighth concert of the series will feature Carlos Medina Conjunto. Hosted by the New Mexico Museum of Art, watch the concert at 7 p.m. on the museum’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NewMexicoMuseumArt/
Carlos Medina is a singer, songwriter, comedian, and actor. A native of Las Vegas, N.M., he has performed throughout the Southwest as both a solo artist and with his four-piece mariachi conjunto. He is also known across the Land of Enchantment for his comedy set, featuring his alter ego Graviel de la Plaga.
Medina has been writing music and performing for more than 30 years. He recently debuted his first professionally produced studio album “El Cantador,” which is also his first mariachi collection. You can learn more about Medina and listen to his music on his website at https://carlos.mw/
